Tape Digitization

Old cassette tapes of funny kid moments and voices? Make a CD!

Cassette tapes which should be converted to mp3s or CD When I was a kid, I said some pretty dumb and funny stuff. Whenever I was in the middle of saying such stuff, my parents would quietly turn on the tape recorder and let me just keep talking.

Fortunately by the time I was a teenager, the tape player was usually in a closet somewhere, any my parents didn't have a convenient way to play those tapes for my friends.

Now, years later, our whole family has fun listening to the funny things us kids said back then. Except now they're on mp3s that we have shared with the family.

Relive your childhood (or your younger years of parenthood) and digitize your tapes.

Details

We do not digitize commercial tapes without a copyright release letter.

Each side of the tape will be made into a track on the CD, or into its own mp3. If your tape does not fit on a CD, we will use our artistic discretion to choose where to split the audio file, and burn it to two or more CDs. A CD holds 80 minutes of audio. If a split is needed, there is no extra charge for the extra CDs required.

Great Ideas!

Great presents for the person who has everything

My parent's VHS home videos sat unwatched on the video shelf for many years. After the tape player had broken, they just switched over to DVDs, and never looked back.

Last year I decided that I wanted to show my 3 year old what I looked like at his age. I digitized our old home videos, and he loved them!

I made copies of the movies for everyone who wanted one! My parents were happy of course, my siblings all got copies and my grandparents were happy to get to watch the old home movies again!
